Various features have been added including:
[+] Multiple PHP versions. Administrators can install any PHP version on the server in addition to PHP supplied with Panel. After registering this PHP version in Panel, administrators will be able to select it in service plan settings. Customers will be able to select this PHP version for a particular website.
[+] Per-website configuration of the Apache web server. Customers can set a number of Apache settings (MIME types, handlers, access restrictions, and index files) for a certain website. Administrators can also set any Apache directives for a certain website in the customer's Control Panel.
[*] 301 and 302 HTTP redirects for sites with the forwarding hosting type. Customers can specify the type of the HTTP redirect code to be used for a site with the standard forwarding hosting type.
[+] Search engine-friendly domain aliases. Customers can set the 301 (search engine-friendly) HTTP redirect for a domain alias. In this case, search engine ranking will not be split between the alias and the original site.
[+] Automatic generation of customers' passwords. Administrators can automatically generate a password when creating a customer. The password will be sent to the customer by email.
[+] Access to the Control Panel for mail users. When creating a mailbox, customers can specify whether Panel should create a corresponding user account.
[+] Improvements in File Manager. File Manager in the Control Panel offers a number of new handy features: Uploading files via drag and drop, uploading of multiple files, file preview, and others.
[+] A database user can access multiple databases. Customers can now create database user accounts. The created accounts can be of two types:
User accounts which have access to only one particular database.
Universal user accounts which have access to all databases.
When creating a database, customers can either create a new account for the database or use an existing one. In earlier Panel versions, when Panel created a database, it also automatically added a database user account for accessing the database.
[+] Database server selection for customers. Customers (if allowed) can select any database server registered in Panel for their own or apps' databases, as opposed to using the default database server. Administrators can grant their customers such an ability with the Database server selection permission.
[+] Support for FTP Secure. Panel users can access the server over FTP Secure (FTP-SSL). Administrators can adjust FTP security policy: allow only secure FTP-SSL connections, allow both secure and non-secure connections, or switch off FTP-SSL.
[*] Improved file structure of virtual hosts. The default website file structure (virtual host template) is more clear now.
Panel system files are shown in File Manager.
Panel allows creating directories in the site's root
Panel system files are hidden in File Manager.
The default suggested name for the domain's and subdomain's root is the domain name.
Directories are moved out of the site's root:
Logs - /var/www/vhosts/system/<domain_name>/logs
Statistics - /var/www/vhosts/system/<domain_name>/statistics
Protected directories - /var/www/vhosts/system/<domain_name>/pd
Web server configuration - /var/www/vhosts/system/<domain_name>/conf
[*] Improved logging for backup, restore, and transfer operations. The log files of these operations are now stored in a more convenient and clear way.
[+] Preliminary check for migration and transfer. Before transferring data from one server to another, Migration & Transfer Manager performs a check for potential transfer problems. This allows administrators to prepare for the migration (transfer) operation: free disk space for temporary files, install required components to a destination server, and so on.
[+] Panel users can use the apostrophe (') symbol in mailbox names.
[+] Detailed usage statistics. On the Statistics tab inside a subscription, Panel users can view disk space usage in more details: statistics about logs, backups, chroot directories, configurations files, and anonymous FTP directory.
[+] Panel users can use the underscore symbol ('_') in the DNS CNAME records. This symbol is required, for example, to configure DKIM.
[+] Adjustable autoresponder reply frequency. Users can specify how frequently a mail autoresponder should reply to the same email address (on the Mail > email account > Auto-Reply tab).
[+] Skipping a confirmation dialog for operations on Panel objects. Panel users can perform operations on Panel objects skipping the confirmation dialog if they run an operation using the (SHIFT + click) combination. For example, you can remove a number of files in File Manager without confirmation, if you click the Remove button while holding the SHIFT key.
[+] Support for the mixed case in domain names and mailbox names. Panel accepts domain names and mailbox names written in the mixed case.
[+] Support for SpamAssassin 3.3.2. Panel 11.5 now supports SpamAssassin 3.3.2.
[+] Improved managing of Panel server from the command line. The new utility plesk lets Panel users connected over SSH easily perform a number of operations on the Panel server: run Panel command-line utilities, manage databases, edit configuration files and so on.
[+] Support for the Roundcube webmail. Roundcube is now the default webmail software for customers.
[+] Support for MySQL 5.5. Panel now supports MySQL 5.5.
[+] Improved User Interface. The Websites & Domains page is now the default page of the Control Panel (the Home page was removed). Sites are presented in the form of an Active List - with direct access to actions relevant to sites. Each list item for a website is made bigger to display more information and to provide access to relevant operations on the site.
[+] Voting for new features. Administrators can now suggest any ideas about how to improve Panel or vote for ideas of other Panel users. They can open the vote form by clicking the Suggest an Idea button in the navigation pane of the Server Administration Panel. Administrators can also point this button to any other URL or hide it.
[+] Context menu for operations on files in File Manager. Possible operations on files are now grouped in the context menu instead of multiple buttons. Customers can open the menu by clicking the area near the file name.
[+] Notifications about available web apps updates. APS apps warn customers about available updates right on the app settings page.
[*] Customers can set any usernames for auxiliary users.
[*] Improvements on the Applications tab. Customers can now sort the list of available apps (on the Applications tab) by category or their popularity.
[*] Improvements in Control Panel. The Users tab is now made one of the last tabs in the user interface as it was not often used by customers.
[*] The built-in Presence Builder tool now uses the same protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) with Panel. In earlier Panel versions, Presence Builder always used HTTP; even if a user communicated with Panel over HTTPS.
[*] Access to log files over SSH or FTP for customers. Customers can now access log files of their sites over SSH or FTP. The logs are located at /var/www/vhosts/domain.tld/logs.
[*] Security improvement.
